Opulent Neck

Da 52 gr di merino-silk-cheviot...




Opulent Neck è il mio primo lavoro con un mio filato a mano.
Qualsiasi filato molto grosso e irregolare può andar bene per questo semplicissimo progetto.

Occorrente:
2 ferri da 12 mm
50 gr/ 45 metri di filato super-bulky
Ago da cucito


Ho avviato 12 maglie con il ferro 12 e lavorato a dritto 2 ferri.
Poi ho continuato così:
Ferro 1: *1 dritto e un gettato* 1 dritto
Ferro 2: 1 dritto *rovescio lasciando cadere le maglie avvolte in precedenza* 1 dritto
Ferro 3: *1 dritto, 2 maglie assieme, 1 gettato* 1 dritto
Ferro 4: 1 dritto* rovescio fino all'ultimo punto* 1 dritto
Ferro 5: dritto
Ferro 6: dritto

Ho continuato così fino alla lunghezza desiderata, nel mio caso 33 cm circa.
Io ho aggiunto un bottone trasparente, nascosto da 4 capi di filato intrecciati tra loro in modo da formare un fiore. Ho assicurato i nodi con filo da cucito e 4 perline colorate.
E il gioco è fatto!



Opulent Neck it's my first project with my handspun yarn.
Any super-bulky and handspun yarn may be fine for this simple project.

Material:

2 US 17 straight or circular needles
50 gr/50 yards super-bulky yarn
Tapestry neadle

I Cast On 12 sts and knit 2 row.
Then,
Row 1: *k1, YO* k1
Row 2: k1 *purl drop Yarn Over sts* k1
Row 3: *k1, k2tog, YO* k1
Row 4: k1 *purl until 1 st last* k1
Row 5: knit
Row 6: knit

Repeat until the desired length, in my case about 13"

Finishing:
I added a trasparent button, hidden from 4 threads of yarn twisted together like a flower. I locked nodes with sewing thread and 4 colored beads.
And that's it!
